Atlantis Tours (P4Y Services — Mediação Imobiliária, Lda) respects your right under the GDPR and Portuguese law to request the deletion of personal data we hold about you. This page tells you exactly how to make that request and what to expect.
1. What you can ask us to delete
On your request, we will delete personal data we hold about you, including:
- Your name, email address, phone number, and any other contact details
- WhatsApp message history exchanged with our Atlantis Bridge service, including media you have shared
- Marketing and partner-recommendation preferences (opt-in/opt-out state)
- Website analytics identifiers tied to your sessions, where these can be linked to you
2. How to submit a deletion request
You can request deletion through any of the following channels. Use the one that is easiest for you:
- Email — write to [email protected] with the subject line "Data deletion request". Include the phone number, email, or booking reference associated with your data so we can locate it.
- Postal mail — P4Y Services, Rua Sophia Mello Breyner, Lote 43, Fracção C, 8200-084 Albufeira, Portugal.
3. Identity verification
To protect your privacy, we may ask you to confirm your identity before processing the request. We will only request information that is strictly necessary (for example, the email or phone number used in the original booking) and will not require copies of identity documents unless the law obliges us to.
4. Response time
We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and complete deletion within 30 days, in line with Article 12(3) of the GDPR. If your request is particularly complex we may extend this period by a further two months and will explain why.
5. What we are legally required to keep
Portuguese tax and maritime law requires us to retain certain records even after a deletion request:
- Booking and invoice records for 10 years, as required by the Portuguese tax authority (Autoridade Tributária)
- Passenger manifests and safety logs for the period required by RNAAT (Registo Nacional dos Agentes de Animação Turística) regulations
- Records strictly necessary to defend or pursue legal claims, for as long as those claims remain enforceable
6. Confirmation
Once your deletion is complete we will send you a written confirmation by email (or by your preferred channel) listing what has been deleted and what has been retained under the legal exceptions above.
7. Complaints
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your request, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority — Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).
