Founded in Portimão, Atlantis Tours has spent over a decade sharing the raw beauty of the Algarve coastline with visitors from around the world. What started as a single speedboat exploring the famous Benagil sea cave has grown into a fleet of purpose-built vessels — from agile speedboats that navigate the intricate cave systems along the coast, to private yachts for sunset cruises and celebrations, to fully equipped fishing boats for deep sea and reef adventures. Our experienced crew, many of whom grew up on these waters, know every hidden cove, sea arch, and secret beach between Lagos and Albufeira. Where do Atlantis Tours depart from?
All our tours depart from the Portimão Commercial Port (Acostagem Porto Comercial de Portimão). We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before your scheduled departure.
What should I bring on a boat tour?
We recommend sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, a light jacket, and a camera. In summer months, bring swimwear and a towel if your tour includes swimming stops.
Can I cancel or reschedule my booking?
Yes! We offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure for a full refund. Rescheduling is also available subject to availability.
Are boat tours suitable for children?
Absolutely. Most of our tours welcome children of all ages. Our crew is experienced with families and all boats are equipped with appropriate safety gear.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety comes first. If conditions are unsuitable for sailing, we will contact you to reschedule or offer a full refund. We monitor weather closely and make the call as early as possible.
