Desde €55.00We will begin this magnificent journey at the Doca do Cais de São Francisco, located at the Clube Naval de Portimão, next to the historic Convent of São Francisco. From there, we will start our voyage towards the world-famous Benagil Cave.
Along the way, we will see churches, castles, stunning caves, eerie caves, and hear ancient stories. There is also the chance to spot our great friends, the dolphins. All of our boats are equipped with VHF radios and operate on the same channel as dolphin-watching vessels. So, if dolphins are spotted—which happens very frequently along our coast—the information is transmitted via radio, and if they are within a 2-nautical-mile radius, we adjust our route to go meet these wonderful animals.
Next, we will pass through the world-renowned Alvor Nature Reserve, offering breathtaking views. With a bit of luck, we may spot some pink flamingos and other species, as the Alvor Estuary is one of the best places in the Algarve for birdwatching. We will be sailing through the protected marshes of the Ria de Alvor Nature Reserve, while to the south lies Alvor Beach, one of the Algarve’s largest stretches of sand.
